Actuation Principle
How does dryer work ?
Dryer contains with twin chambers each filled with desiccant material which dries the compressed air as it passes through.This desorption process is assisted by triggering a blower which suck the ambient air through a heater to regenerate the desiccant. Completion of the heating cycle, use a few drying air to cool down the desiccant bed. Vessel is re-pressurized after the cooling process finished. Now the system is ready for a changeover.
One chamber is operational (drying), while the opposite chamber is regenerating.
The function of dewpoint meter is to check the drying quality of the outlet air of dryer to change the cycle via PLC controller to allow continuous operation.
The compressor air made the desicccant tight by flowing downstream during adsorption procedure.
This would be able to promote the adsorption efficiency as well as the dewpoint performance at outlet.
Procedure of adsorption and regeneration are in reverse direction to ensure there was no repeated adsorption and the heating was not wasted of power.
Use a few CDA to cool the desiccant to avoid the contamination of water vapor and no adsorption in advance during cooling porcedure.
Cool down the desiccant temperature below 50℃, it avoided the dewpoint soike due to moisture penetration as two vessels were switchover.
Use double eccentric butterfly valve and the position switch to ensure the valve position is correct.
High closed efficiency to prevent the water vapor contamination from leakage.
Heater material is stainless steel or Incoloy. Maximum operating temperature is acceptable to 600~800℃ and it has excellent heat it has excellent heat conduction.
SCR thermostat controller to allow the heater to heat up gradually and the service life is extended.
It saves more than 6% of energy than the traditional two-stage thermal control heaters.
Install a dewpoint sensor to monitor the quality of outlet air of dryer and to control the dryer flexible cycle time.
Ensure the outlet air quality is good and provide the savings by the energy management system.
Watt-hour meter is standard to display and record the dryer power consumption, then you will know the running cost of the dryer.
The user-friendly PLC controller panel and the Chinese/English touch screen display are easy to operation. It can completely show the operating condition of the dryer.
Communication by Modbus RS485 RTU.
